Everyone deserves a mind-body connection, and we must realize that we should build this habit in kids when they are young. Teaching them the importance of being in tune with their bodies is crucial for a healthy lifestyle. As a nonprofit organization at Yoga and Meditation for Kids, we provide a fun, interactive, and safe environment where children and young athletes can channel their emotions, improve their self-awareness and mobility to decrease injuries, and promote concentration to be at the top of their games. We want them to enjoy their sports with health and wellness at the forefront.
MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Hi! I’m Pilar! I am one of the teachers here at Yoga and Meditation for Kids. I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), a registered children’s yoga teacher (RCYT), a classroom teacher with a master’s degree in bilingual education, and a mom of two wonderful boys. In my years of teaching, I’ve seen how even a few minutes of quiet time or simple stretches can help kids feel better and focus more. I’ve been practicing yoga for over a decade, and it has helped me in my fitness, focus more, be kind to myself, and care for others. When kids learn yoga and meditation early, I believe they gain skills that will help them throughout their lives and achieve great success in what matters to them.
Our Mission
We are a nonprofit organization; join us in our mission to help young athletes develop a loving relationship with themselves, become better players, and reduce injuries. At Yoga and Meditation for Kids, we help children improve mobility by stretching and strengthening their muscles to prevent injuries, increase concentration, and regulate emotions by fostering body awareness and a loving relationship with themselves.

In our classes, we are devoted to teaching children about the wellness of our bodies and minds and the power of our breath. By teaching yoga and meditation, we help children be mindful and connect them with their bodies through breathing and movement. Our mission at Yoga and Meditation for Kids is to create a healthy and nourished community by providing children with tools to help them be successful in their sports, school, and life through fun engagement and creative yoga classes. Our teachers have undergone extensive training and workshops and have the knowledge and experience to contribute to your children’s future. We are passionate about sharing our expertise and building a practical approach that can change the lives of children through yoga and meditation. Our job is to teach children how to connect with their minds and bodies and harness the power within themselves to change their lives one step at a time.
